Ball field parking used up by high school

So here goes another year of ball. There never is enough parking as it is when we have ball tournaments. There was a guarantee that the parking lot at Echo Ball Park would not be touched. Well there is no place to park anymore What is wrong with the decision makers in this town?
It was the slow pitch men's ball teams who made fields 35 years ago! All volunteer the men even bought wood to help pay for a lot of the stuff that was needed. Now were told to just go park at the arena, which is further away from diamond 1 and 4.

The fence that was put up at the new high school took away the parking lot at the ball park. Hopefully it is just temporary make up fence? If removed the parking lot can be fixed like it was before.
The kids going to school will likely use it in the daytime.
This needs to happen before the contractors are finished the High School. By the looks of it they will be there for a while yet.
IMO we need to look into this now and, get it in writing the parking lot and the ball diamonds are the responsibility of Parks & Reck. Imo a verbal guarantee is not good enough, unless they still are going to take down the fence?
